العراقيات في مدينة السليمانية للفترة 12_14 ايار ورشة عمل بشأن (المحتوى الاعلامي
وامكانية تغيير الصورة النمطية للمرأة من قبل ادارات المؤسسات الاعلامية )، بمشاركة
مجلس النواب و شبكة الاعلام العراقي و هيئة الاعلام والاتصالات، والامانة العامة
لمجلس الوزراء ممثلة بدائرة تمكين المرأة و مكتب الاعلام والاتصال، بالاضافة الى
مجموعة من الاكاديميين/ات ومنظمات المجتمع المدني و وسائل الاعلام.
تضمنت الورشة التي حاضرت
فيها فيها كلا من رئيسة منتدى الاعلاميات العراقيات دكتورة نبراس المعموري واستاذة
الاعلام في جامعة بغداد دكتورة سهام الشجيري وعلى مدى ثلاثة ايام، العلاقة بين
صورة المرأة في الإعلام ووضعها وصورتها في المجتمع، وطبيعة واصناف الصورة النمطية وعناصر المحتوى
الإعلامي،
و مدى تبني مقاربة النوع الاجتماعي على مستوى وسائل الإعلام و اثرالخطاب الإعلامي
المؤدلج في تكريس الصورة النمطية عن المرأة ، وكذلك قواعد
المعالجة الاعلامية الايجابية من قبل رؤساء الاقسام و المؤسسات الاعلامية و مدى
توافقها مع الاستراتيجية الجندرية للاعلام العراقي التي اعدها منتدى
الاعلاميات مسبقا .
كما تضمنت الورشة التحديات
التي تواجه المؤسسات الاعلامية لغرض انتاج محتوى اعلامي ايجابي بصدد المرأة من
خلال عرض رؤية شبكة الاعلام العراقي بصدد المحتوى الخاص بالمرأة من قبل نائب رئيس مجلس
امناء الشبكة الدكتور محمد سلام، وكذلك الدور الرقابي لهيئة الاعلام والاتصالات من قبل عضو مجلس امناء هيئة
الاعلام والاتصالات السيدة آفا فائق عبر منصة الزووم وكذلك بشكل مباشر من قبل
السيدة ايمان مسعود مسؤولة مكتب تمكين المرأة في الهيئة، اما اقليم كردستان فقد استعرضت واقعه والتحديات التي
تواجهها المرأة الاستاذة الجامعية الدكتورة شيلان رؤوف .
اختتمت الورشة بمجموعة من التوصيات وكذلك اليات العمل التي سيتم تفعيلها بالتعاون مع الجهات الرسمية المشاركة بعد اكمال الورشة التدريبية الثانية .. يذكر ان النشاط بدعم من الصندوق الوطني لدعم الديمقراطية وهو يأتي ضمن سلسلة الانشطة التي نظمت بالتعاون مع منتدى الاعلاميات العراقيات وعلى مراحل متعددة .
Conclusion of the First Workshop on Media Content regarding the Possibility of Changing the Stereotyped Image of Women by Media Institutions.
The Iraqi Women Journalists Forum has organized a workshop on (media content and the possibility of changing the stereotyped image of women by the Departments of media institutions) in Sulaymaniyah, 12-14 May.
The workshop took place with the participation of the Council of Representatives, the Iraqi Media Network, the Communications and Media Commission, the general secretariat of the Council of ministers represented by the Department of women empowerment, and the information and communication office. In addition to a group of academics, civil society organizations, and various media channels.
The president of the Iraqi Women Journalists Forum, Dr. Nibras al-Mamory, and the media professor at the University of Baghdad, Dr. Siham Al-shjairi, had made a presentation at the workshop. For three days, they went over the relationship between the image of women in the media, women’s status and image in society, the stereotypes and elements of media content.
They have also discussed the adoption of the gender equality approach in the media and the impact of the ideologized media discourse in perpetuating the stereotyped image of women. As well as addressing positive media rules and regulations by the heads of departments and media institutions, examining the compatibility of the gender strategy for the Iraqi Media, which was prepared by the IWJF previously.
The workshop also included the challenges faced by media institutions to produce positive media content regarding women. Vice-Chair of the board of trustees, Dr. Mohammed Salam, presented the vision of the Iraqi Media Network regarding women’s content. In addition to that, the supervisory role of the Communications and Media Commission was discussed via Zoom by the member of its board of Trustees, Ms. Ava Faik, while Ms. Iman Massoud, an official of the Office of women empowerment in the commission, has joined in person. As for the Kurdistan region, Dr. Shelan Fathi has reviewed the reality and challenges faced by women.
The workshop concluded with a set of recommendations and working mechanisms that will be activated and worked by in cooperation with the participating official bodies after completing the second training workshop. It is worth mentioning that this activity is sponsored by the National Endowment for Democracy, which comes as a part of a series of activities organized in cooperation with the Iraqi Women Journalists Forum.
